Junior Gryphons Academy Program
Guelph Soccer is thrilled to expand the Junior Gryphons Academy Program for the 2024-2025 competitive season to five teams! For our fourth year, the Academy Program will include the following teams:
2011 Boys
2010 Girls
2010 Boys
2009 Girls
2008 Boys
The soccer landscape in our province and country is gaining momentum, and the academy program will provide our Jr. Gryphons players with a high-performance pathway that will help navigate this. Players will work closely with Guelph Soccer’s technical staff and certified team coaches to elevate their training experience through:
- increased weekly practices
- strength and conditioning program
- technical staff led futsal program
- educational and game analysis sessions
- individual goal setting
The aim of program is to equip our players during their Guelph Soccer journey so that they have right support and confidence to take on their League 1 Ontario and/or post-secondary pursuits!

Academy tryouts for the 2024-2025 season will be held between September 23rd - September 28th.
Sessions will be 1.5 hours long with players participating in various technical activities and an 11v11 game. Players must attend all age group sessions and are open to anyone interested.
