Coach Education Series with Bobby Lennox

We are thrilled to welcome Bobby Lennox to Guelph on Friday, November 13th from 6-8:30pm. Bobby Lennox is currently a Master Coach Developer working with Canada Soccer in the development of course content and facilitation of the Children’s Licence course. Bobby has also delivered at A Licence courses and mentors and evaluates coaches in all the Canada Soccer licensing streams.

Bobby will be discussing the importance of social development in soccer. From making friends to dealing with disagreement, the ability to interact successfully with others is incredibly important. The progressive player centred coach can create environments where the social development of the players is also seen as an important part of his/her role to nurture and encourage social development. Children with strong social skills find it easier to establish good relationships and this has a positive impact on their wellbeing
