friend request policy

Guelph Soccer allows one-to-one reciprocated friend requests for our House League Program. When registering a player online, during the ‘checkout’ process, members can find a ‘comments’ box to submit friend requests.

Requests are subject to the following conditions:

  1. Requests must be one-to-one player reciprocated requests (i.e. both players must have requested they be on the same team as the other).

  2. Requests are to be made when registering the player online.

  3. Requests will not be taken after the registration deadline.

  4. The reciprocal player request must also be made by the deadline.

  5. Additionally, up to 3 players can be requested to be on the same team, so long as those 3 players’ parents are any combination of 1 volunteer head coach, up to 1 volunteer assistant coach, and 1 house league team sponsor.

  6. Requests are accepted at the discretion of Guelph Soccer; submitting a request is not a guarantee that it will be provided.

Failure to comply with the conditions may result in your request not being granted. The deadline to make a player request is 30 days prior to the season start. For more information, please read our Player Request Policy.
