Rep Coach Applications OPEN For 2024

It is with great excitement that we announce that our Rep Coach Application Process is NOW OPEN for the 2024 season!

We are currently accepting applications for all Soccer For Life Head coaching positions (job description) and all Grassroots level coaching positions.

Please be advised that if you are looking to be an assistant coach within our soccer for life cohorts, your application will be accepted but an interview WILL NOT be scheduled. It will be the responsibility of the Head Coach to select their assistant coaches and supporting staff in conjunction with support and approval from our Technical Team.

Therefore, we kindly ask that ALL coaches complete the documentation found here and reference their desired position within Section 1 of the document for the 2024 season. Your response will then be categorized as such for further follow-up in a prioritized manner reflecting the intended position.

For any coaches who wish to coach at the grassroots level, please indicate if you would like to apply for an Age Group lead coaching position, a team head coach coaching position, or a supporting coaching position. All grassroots coaches will be interviewed, but age group lead coaches will be selected first, then in conjunction with the age group lead coach and the technical team, all team head coaches will then be selected followed by supporting coach positions.

The rep coach application is currently open and concludes on Friday August 18th. All applications must be submitted by this indicated date as interviews will be scheduled for the following week. All applications can be sent to Technical Director, Justin Springer at justin.springer@guelphsoccer.ca

We will then host our rep coach interviews throughout the week of Monday August 21st through Friday August 25th OR upon receipt of the application at a desired time and date upon submission. We will not, however, announce or select any head coaches until the application window has concluded to ensure we capture all possible applicants and all possibilities.

Please be advised, that ONLY the coaches that may be selected before the application window concludes are Guelph Soccer Academy Team Head Coaches.

Please forward these documents to any possible coaching candidates, as all applications are welcomed and encouraged! It would be expected that selected head coaches and age group leads are interacting with our groups throughout our open development and tryout sessions at the end of the month as we value their opinion and support throughout the roster selection and age group invitation process.
