2022 Guelph Soccer Board of Directors
Guelph Soccer is proud to announce its new and returning Board of Directors for 2022.
New Directors
Dale Roberts has worked for the not-for-profit, 4-H as Finance Manager since 2015. He has experience in accounting, forecasting, budget preparation, and presenting financials. This includes experience in interacting with two NPO boards and their financial committees. Dale also has event planning, fundraising, and human resources experience. He was a house league coach and is currently an indoor adult player at the Club.
Cathy Kim works for Syneos Health in clinical research. She has chaired the parent-teacher association at two different schools. Cathy has considerable experience in fundraising and event planning with the Canadian Cancer Society in events such as Wellington Warrior Challenge and ElectricFit. She has also gained budgetary management experience with her PTA volunteering. She is currently in her fourth year as the team manager for the BU13 rep team, is the GU9 age group lead, and is a part of Cohort #1 of the club’s ongoing She’s Got Game- She Can Coach project funded by the Government of Canada
Conor Brogan is a Solutions Sales Manager for Ericsson Canada. Conor served on the Montreal Shamrocks Gaelic Football Club`s governing board from 2002 to 2010, holding various positions, including Games Development Officer, Treasurer, Vice-President, and President. He has experience in fundraising, event planning and helped re-write the Shamrocks’ club constitution. He has executive board member experience, and experience in project budgeting, fundraising, and strategic and event planning. He is currently a coach for the BU12 rep teams.
Returning Directors
Craig DiSero has been a member of Guelph Soccer for 10 years, with the last four years as a member of the Board of Directors fulfilling roles as Secretary, Governance Committee Chair, and as a member of the Finance Committee. Craig previously held the position of Team Manager and Coach for his son’s team. He is currently a Director of Administration and Technology at a private company and has also volunteered with the Canadian Cancer Society.
Amber Williams has been a member of the Board of Directors for the past four years, fulfilling roles as Nominations Committee Chair and as Chair of the Environmental Committee. She has held roles as Team Manager and Coach for both house league and rep programs. She has also sat on the Board of Directors for a local nursery school and has been involved in Food Bank fundraising.
