Position description for League Convener 

Report To:  General Manager

Purpose of position:  To be the first point of contact for the public, our volunteers and members, throughout Guelph Soccer indoor programs.

The position will include, evening and weekend shifts.

Specific Responsibilities:

Provides excellent customer service to the public, Guelph Soccer volunteers and members, including responding to inquiries and requests and resolving customer complaints as necessary in a prompt, effective and courteous manner.

Enforces facility policies, rules and regulations as necessary.

Assists in emergency protocol as required in training.

Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of the facility/equipment as required.

Operates equipment safely and reports any unsafe work condition or practice to supervisor.

Lead facility set-up for Guelph Soccer programs.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Grade 11 education

Must be willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some seasonal special events.

Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to problem solve and work under time constraints.

First Aid Certification would be an asset.
