About the CPL

There has never been a more exciting time for soccer in Canada. This year, Canada welcomed the new Canadian Premier League (CPL). In 2026, we will be co-hosting the World Cup!

Members often ask us how they can help move the game forward in Canada. Our first answer is to watch the game!

Get out and support our new domestic league (CPL) by viewing games from home or attending them in person.

Guelph Soccer is pleased to announce that we will supporting two CPL teams this year; York 9, who Justin Springer our Technical Manager, plays for & Forge FC our closest geographical CPL Club based out of Hamilton.
